One of the challenges faced by Encore! is how to organize coaching at a time that suits both the quartet and the coach.

Since the majority of international faculty and other top coaches are based in the U.S., coaching for groups based outside continental America usually involves costly travel expenses on top of coaching fees.

Encore!'s voices add va va voom to VoiceLab

Thanks to London City Singers for giving us this great opportunity

Encore!'s voices add va va voom to VoiceLab - March 2010 Encore! Quartet were invited to join London City Singers to perform at the Royal Festival Hall's VoiceLab series.

Not only was this fantastic preparation for our upcoming competition at the Sage Gateshead but an absolute pleasure to share the stage with the London City girls in such a unique venue - singing to a captive audience as well as having the background buzz of passers by. Thanks to London City Singers for giving us this great opportunity - it was wonderful to hear your energetic sparkling sound through such a fun repertoire.

Encore! are now working hard and enjoying coaching in preparation for the Sweet Adelines International Region 31 Convention on 7th May - check back soon for the results!

Encore! Quartet has been busy entertaining this Christmas at a variety of functions. We ended one of our engagements singing in the bar for charity.

It was enormous fun, and thanks to the generosity of those who listened and enjoyed the impromptu entertainment we have been able to donate £100 to Help for Heroes. This charity has particular significance for Encore! as Deb’s son is in the Parachute Regiment.

We remember too, those who have sacrificed their lives and particularly their families and friends at this time of year. Our thoughts are also with all those who have been wounded in the ongoing conflicts their families and friends. Thank You.
